Since childhood,I have been fascinated by the world of magic and dreams. Expressing myself through art and color has allowed the child part of my spirit to embrace and create whimsical and fanciful works of art.

While healing from surgery, I was inspired to use my hands and allow my thinking mind to take a back seat. I began seeing hidden images of powerful animal faces, clocks, watches, and eyes…lots of eyes. I did not intentionally put these themes on the page, they magically came forth with a message, to allow oneself to be seen. This thread of magic has woven its way into all my paper collages.

When my creativity sparked, I began to work in a way where I was able to let go of any ideas of perfection and allow my subconscious mind to create through joy. I began with pencil and charcoal but quickly moved to color and sparkles. My pieces are fun, light filled journeys. A symphony of color and flow. Gel printed hand designed paper, wrapping paper , magazines, zentangles, and sparkle are what I play with to create my collages.

I love creating art and am grateful to have the opportunity to express myself in this way. I am constantly honored by the depth of creativity that comes through me and am thrilled to share it with you.
